Would just like to start by saying hi,
I have a question to any reader of this, I am in the course of starting my weekends walking again and . . .
I would like to know of anyone who would be interested in joining me and my friend David walking in hills and paths of Scotland?
You do not to be mega fit nor have any real expertise in climbing or hiking. We go up on early sat mornings and are done by about 6pm latest. It's a good laugh and I know many people like me want to but don't really know anyone who is into it.
Please comment here or note me, I can try my best to match missing parts of you kit or give advice on what's needed until you decide if you would like to make it a hobby and can start to make up your own kit as I all did. We will be starting small and building up from there this will give us all a chance to build muscle needed for the Munros which are some of Scotland's best mountains.
We are 19 and 20 and live near Coatbridge just outside Glasgow.
First hill will be for the 17th march a Saturday, we will start small, with Myreton hill 387m aprox: 3hrs.
Please note we move as fast as the slowest member there's no breaking apart and running ahead this means we all stay well paced and have a great day of it.
I hope to hear from at least 2 or 3 of you!
Thank you and good day
John AKA Phoenixq
